Move between panes in dual browser mode

Hey,
Just a quick question, how to easily move between two panes in dual browser mode? I know that's a shortcut, but for instance how to confiure it to use a TAB to move between left and right window?

Bump for this question. I'm using Path Finder Version 5.2.2 under OSX 10.5.8 and don't see an option for moving between Dual Browser panes under the Menu Key Editor (Path Finder -> Set Menu Keys ...)

In the meantime I've resorted to using a single Path Finder window and tabs, which have better keyboard shortcut support. It's a little less comfortable than Dual Browser view (since I come from using Altap Salamander under WinXP) but I'm able to work.

i think this is a "snow leopard only" feature.

On Snow Leopard the shortcut is option-shift-` and can be reassigned under Path Finder > Set Menu Keys. I'm afraid it requires the use of a modifier key, like option or command.

It's on our list of things to backport from Snow Leopard to Leopard.

This seems to be Command+Option+` on Snow Leopard, unless i've changed this from default (dodgy memory)?

i don't believe i changed it and it works with ctrl-tab (focus goes through both panes and filterbar).

You're right, command+option+` it is.

Control-tab is a OS-wide shortcut for moving between fields and panes but it exhibited some unusual behavior in Path Finder under certain conditions so we added a special PF-only shortcut. We still need to add a unique shortcut for the toolbar search field.

Using an azerty keyboard this shortcut doesn't seem to work.
A way to redefine all the keyboard shortcuts would *really* be useful. I come from the PC where I used to do absolutely everything file-related in Total Commander via keyboard shortcuts, and even though Path Finder seems alright, pretty much all actions needs the mouse to be done. Not productive

Do you have trouble setting your own key commands from with the Menu Key Editor?

My bad, I didn't see that I could do that. Now I understand the comment about needing the command modifier - I can't just assign the tab key to switch between pane, or the backspace key to go up one folder. Those will be the most dearly missed shortcuts.
