PF disappears on right click

Since moving to Snow Leopard, quite often when right clicking on a file, Path Finder will poof out of existence. There is no post crash dialog from the OS. The app just disappears and needs to be restarted. This is still happening with the latest build, Version 5.5.0 (836).

I don't have recipe for reproducing it on demand, at this point. Seems kind of random but fairly frequent.

just downloaded latest version 5.5.6 889, right clicking anywhere on the window (no files highlighted) and going down to menu "other" (altro), PF crashes

I also noticed this error since Snow Leopard. Even the latest Build of PF has this kind of bug. Any right click will hang PF for about 2 minutes. During this time I see this in the console log:

Nov 20 08:40:13 NCC-74656-Voyager fseventsd[42]: SLOWDOWN: client 0x10102a400 (pid 8014) sleeping due to too many errors (num usleeps 1013)

The mentioned PID is the PF application:

This is really annoying since it makes PF completely unusable

Do you have any external drives attached? Are you using MacFUSE, ExpanDrive, NTFS-3G, or Paragon NTFS?

Yes, I've MacFUSE 2.1.5 installed. I usually have USB drives connected. But the error also occurs when no external drives are connected. I don't have any MacFUSE filesystems in use.

I removed the MacFUSE but it didn't change anything. PF still hangs when right clicking on any item. Only ForceQuit can reanimate it until the next right click
