spring loaded folders and column view

Am I right that spring-loaded folders do not close in column view after dropping into them?

I have disclosure triangles disabled and collapse auto-expanded folders enabled.

It is annoying to drag and drop an item into a folder in column view and then it does not spring closed. I would like to see the foder spring open along the columns to the right rather than within the column.

Does this make sense?

I think so - you're in column view and have disclosure triangles showing, and when you use the spring-loaded folders feature, the disclosure triangles open instead of the file browser traversing the file hierarchy, right?

What version of Path Finder are you running?

I just downloaded the 3.1 version and it works the way I would have expected.
