It was kind of hard to say what I want to do in the Title of this thread. So I usually use coverflow with a list or icon view. In my pictures I have several sub-folders and I am wanting to the icon to be an image from that particular folder. Kind of like Itune's cover flow with the album covers. I want something like that so I can see an image preview rather than tons of folder icons in cover flow. Thanks :)

if these two don't work in coverflow, the only way is to manually set each folder icon to one of the contained images.

Well both of those don't work in Snow Leopard. I am fine making a file as an icon for a particular folder. How would I go about doing that?

OK, I did figure out how to do it :)

Anyone curious how I did so, the answer is here:

if you wanna do things faster you might consider using micon (http://www.filewell.com/micon/).
