How to make the built-in terminal show Chinese/Japenese characters?

Is there any way that I can make the built-in terminal to support Chinese/Japenese characters? (e.g. folder names) I had tried to set text encoding to unicode but that did not work.

i think you have to chose a font which supports chinese/japanese characters too.
