I recently updated to 10.4.11 on two machines, a g5 power mac and a g4 powerbook (oooh... feel the power! :) ). On the g5, everything went smoothly. The g4 had a few skips, namely I can now see the symlinks for etc, var, and tmp in the root directory. Apple's finder exposes these as well... it's not a big deal, but it is mildly annoying and it would be nice if they stayed hidden.
Also, every folder shortcut I had in the dock would instead open the apple loops utility program from logic rather than the respective folder. I removed the apple loops utility from the hard disk, since I don't have any need for it anyhow, re-dragged everything into the dock, and now it is behaving normally again.
Has anyone experienced anything like this?
