I love Drop Stack for moving things around. But often I want to copy things, not to move them. Is there a way to say that the next operation with Drop Stack is a copy, not move?
Also, what are the numbers, appearing in a gray square on drop stack?

Yes, you can use it for copy too. Just press Alt when you start to drag the folder to the Drop Stack - you will notice that ot will be displayed with a "+" sign when you place it on the Drop Stack.
The numbers appearing in the gray square indicated the number of "stacks" you placed on the Drop Stack. You can drag two files from one location - it's the first stack, then three files from other - second stack. Then you can pick the second stack from the Drop Stack first and move it to one location, and the first stack to another location.
