Dashboard Widgets size suddenly abnormally huge .... Help!

New Mac user, enjoying Dashboard very much ....
UNTIL suddenly my screen display widgets jumped
to HUGE SIZES, no longer can align, no longer can
see the wonderful layout I had begun to love ...

I can't find ANYWHERE what might have happened
and HOW TO CORRECT! I just want my widgets
back to normal size and position .....
