I'd love a PF quicksilver object that opens a new PF indow, similar to the way iTunes functions are available right in the first QS pane. This would be much faster than clicking the desktop and doing a cmd+n.

Currently, activating PF from QS does the same thing that clicking the dock icon does, it opens a new PF window if there are none open, otherwise it just pulls the existing window the the front.

thanks :)

For me it's the other way around.

I use QS to open folders in PF, but every time I do that I get a new window in PF, which gets messy. I wish PF could open a new tab instead.

If I understand you correctly you should be able to use my problem to solve yours; if you create a trigger to open your home dictory (or whatever) you can use that when you want to launch a new PF window.

Thanks, I hadn't thought of that.
Tabs are a feature that I rarely use. For some reason I find tabs in my web browser indespensible, but I prefer multiple windows in my file browser. I don't tend to be interested in as many file locations as I am web locations.
