Is it possible to reveal a file downloaded by Safari in Path Finder (when clicking on the small magnifying glass icon)?

Thanks.

In v3 you could use the hack to make the system think Path Finder is the "real" Finder. Then clicking on the magnifying glass icon would show the item in Path Finder. However, the hack has the potential to make the system go seriously wonky.

What I find works just as well is to create a specific folder everything downloads into, ~/Desktop/target, then add target to the shelf. If I want to find a download (and actually, what's the point of downloading something if you don't want to find it at least once?) switch to Path Finder & click on "target" in the shelf.

Two - three extra clicks, but it works well enough for me.

Thanks for the suggestion. I use something similar (I have a "downloads" folder in my shelf). However it's needs some cleanup, so I've grown to rely on Safari taking me to the right place. I guess it'll teach me to be more tidy 8)

Here's a further idea I use: Inside target, I have a folder named "installed." When I download and then install something, it goes in there when it's done. Keeps the target folder clean(er).

I also have a folder named "old." If something sets in target for more than a week or two, I figure I'm not likely to use it & it gets chucked in here.

Once installed and old get big enough, I burn 'em off to disk & start over.
