In v. 4, the default fonts are way too small all over the place. I was able to increase icons and fonts in the main browser window, but not anywhere else, including the Global menu (Favorites and Applications sub menu fonts are microscopic on my iMac G5).

you might try disabling "use small contextual menu" in the "contextual menu" section of the prefs.

and to adjust the font sizes for a view type, activate the view (icon, list, column) and hit CMD-J to bring up the view options (also under the view menu). from there you can customize to your hearts content.

another LI user, eh?

View has no effect on Shelf, Volumes, or the Global App Menu. I know about View and I used it to increase fonts in main browser window.

Yes, the Shelf and Volume pane font's are not changeable yet. Sorry. Can we change this by hacking a .plist file or something?

No, sorry - it would need to be a preference before hacking a plist did anything.

How does one change the font size of the items in the shelf and column headers. I love it that the columns font is configurable, but that is the only font so far that I have been able to change.

P.S.
Hugeanormous props to cocoatech on this release.

I have the same question, it is important to be able to change the font sizes there also.
Mind you, it's the only problem I have.

Have fun!
