Hi,
I recently Updated to 10.3.6 and now I see double icons on the desktop.
Looks like one for the original size and one for my custome size.
Any help is apprecitated,
Jason

Because the Path Finder's desktop is set to be transparent, you're seeing the Finder's desktop and the Path Finder's desktop at the same time. There are a few options here:
1. Quit the Finder.
2. Change the Path Finder desktop from "Transparent" to some other setting (see Path Finder > Preferences > Desktop)
3. Use Tinkertool or some other system tweaking application to turn off the Finder's desktop (this is what I do).

Hello and thank you for your reply....but I am afraid I am all messed up...and frustrated. I have TinkerTool and do not see what you mention.
The only way I can get the icons to go away is to select a color background in the preferences.
Now when I start up my powerbook ---- the default is the Apple Finder and not PathFinder.
I just want it back the way it was....which was:
Starts up with the PathFinder desktop
The icons were smaller than default (i cannot figure out how to do this now)
No double icons
Seems no matter what I do or how many times I reboot I am not getting satisfaction...also, I have been through the docs again.
Thanks for any help,
Jason

problems resolved....i believe my issue had to do with my background. I think the background I was using got deleted but was still being used somehow....not sure but I switched desktop backgrounds and everything works as it should.
thx.
