Great work on the 3.2 beta. I'm especially stoked to discover that, just as I had hoped for and even suggested, new directories now always load in the leftmost column, ala the Panther Finder. Sweet.

The Find function in 3.2 Beta is pretty sweet; much more advanced than the little sheet that slid down before.

However, some interface suggestions:
- Make Visibility into checkboxes instead of a pulldown menu.
- Size would benefit from being radio buttons (Greater than and Less than, ignored if no number entered or if 0?)

- The Access menu... oh my. Althought the list of frequently-used permissions at the top of the menu is great, the rest of the menu is obscenely excessive. Every. Single. Combination?! </Shatner>

Please, for the sanity of your users: keep the common permissions in a menu, but also have a "Custom..." option, and give us a grid of buttons (like in the Get Info window). Menus should not stretch into near infinity. :-)

Whoops; that last guest post was me.

That's what happens when forums let you post without being registered. Not that I'm complaining; for purposes like this—getting feedback and comments on a great application—it's a good strategy.

The members just have to be a little more observent while posting. ;-)
