Show all extensions except .app?

In your browser preference you have an option to show all extensions and I love that it does but is there a way (looked but double checking) to make path finder not show a list of extensions like .app?

If not I would like this request to be about to show all extensions except a user defined list so I can hide all those .app extensions plus any others if they come about.

How about just an exception list in the preferences. Then when you switch to show all extensions, it does show all but those in the list.
