View Full Version : Menu Keys weirdness

I've been attempting to use the "Set Menu Keys..." menu item, and it's been giving me trouble...

I was able to delete menu keys when I first opened the settings window, but ever since that first invocation, pushing delete has done nothing at all.

Additionally, I set hotkeys in the "Stuffit" sub-menu in the "Command" menu, and it seems to have forgotten the shortcut keys I set, and moved the shortcut I had set to Stuffit Decompress to the standard Decompress in the Command menu, so I can't even try to move it back, since it's impossible to override menu keys without first deleting the old ones, which I can't do.

I'm finding Path Finder tremendously useful, but this is a rather bothersome bug. Thanks.

Well, a long while and many restarts of Path Finder later, it seems like the only way to ever delete Menu Keys is to trash the whole Path Finder preferences file. I really don't want to have to do that every time I want to change my Menu Key settings. I'm even running an install of Panther that's only about a week old, so I don't think it's something else conflicting. This is really bad enough that I'm having trouble replacing the Finder.

Help? Someone?
Thanks.
