...I love the new implementation of spring-loaded folders. It's immensely useful. However, I find myself trying to get windows to pop up using the same hover/spacebar trick while I am dragging things, and I realized that the Finder has that functionality.

Is there a chance that Path Finder could pop a window to the top when an item is dragged over a background window, after the spring-loaded delay or with a press of the spacebar? It would make dragging from window to window several million times easier and more efficient.

Thanks!

Actually, this already sort of works in Path FInder right now. If you have two PF browser windows open, hovering a dragged item over top of the window in the background will bring it to the front.

It's on the to-do list to add the capability to do this with PF windows that are behind any application's windows, not just another PF window.

How long do you have to hover for? Do you have to hover over the title bar of the window to make it come to the front? I haven't been able to get it to work. Thanks for your help.

Hover over the file listing area.

Ahh. Got it. Thanks. :)

In that case, can I suggest that PF windows jump to frontmost when any part of them is hovered over? I keep ending up with only the sidebar and titlebar visible, since new windows cascade as they're created.
Thanks again for helping me figure it out.
