A lot of times I find myself moving some file where I didn't want to, or remove a toolbar item when I meant to drag the window. There are many things that I do by accident, usually because the system decides to spin up a disk, or the computer just doesn't respond fast enough. It is so annoying because you know you did something wrong, but you don't know what. Ever try draging a bunch of files and accidently letting go of the mouse button? Either you have to search for them, or you have to pick them out of the folder that you accidently dropped them in.

The point of all this:
I wish, oh I wish, I had an undo.

Also, a way to lock the toolbar so that I can't add / remove items from it would be nice :D

Just in case you're counting votes, I'll second this. An undo is definitely needed.

Mmmh, i'm using PF 3.3.2 on Tiger and undo doesn't work... Did it work on Panther???

It's an essential feature, so i hope it'll work with the next version of PF.

cheers,

:)

Looks like this part of the to-do didn't make PF4!

Undo is still really important, and one of the few ways the finder beats PF

It seems to me that it begins to emerge in 4.0.3. I saw something like "Undo Set Color" once, but I can't reproduce it now...

(Tsss...a secret :) )

Yes, I agree. Undo is a CORE FEATURE that should be top (well, somewhere near the top) of the To Do List (*especially* for version 4 of any commercial product).

Cheers,
Ashely.

Hi,

I'm trying Pathfinder out at the moment. Does Undo not work? Sometimes I drag things somewhere accidentally and I can't tell where, in regular Finder, undo is a lifesaver (well, timesaver).

Thanks,

Alex

(I've just been notified this has been merged into this thread and look forward to this feature)
