Lets say I have 100 users that use 1 Mac. They're are 100 different user accounts. I have to enter the serial number in 100 times, once for each user. I don't want this. I want to enter it once and have it stored in /Library/Preferences or /Library/Application Support/ That way the app can be serialized once and everyone can have their own preferences.
I've tried moving com.cocoatech.pathfinder.plist to /Library/Preferences/ but it doens't seem to have any effect.
Is there another file I should be trying?

According to some lets say not so aboveground databases...
(Mod edit: let's not talk about serialization and other nasties, shall we? Sorry, Ulysses, but your post was definitely on the touchy side.)

Zoom77 - I'll have to talk to Steve to confirm what the license covers when you purchase Path Finder. I haven't been helping him out long enough to know exactly what it covers.
That said, I'm almost positive it's on a per-user basis - that is, if you wanted to install Path Finder on your laptop and your tower that would be acceptable, as long as it was only one user that was using it.
There are bulk licenses available if you wanted to install Path Finder for a large group or team of users; send me a PM if you're interested.
I'll post back here with clarification when I get it.
