Bug or Feature?

Hi, I downloaded the newest Path Finder last night and played with it a bit. I was very, very impressed. I use my computer a lot, and pathfinder has a lot of features that I began to consider paying for.

... until, that is, I tried to switch to another app and the Path Finder window wouldn't move into the background! Trying to read my e-mail through the Path Finder window turned out to be beyond my level of competence ;-).

I looked through the preferences and help files to see if there was anything there about this being a bug or a feature, or just a quirk on my machine, but came up blank. Any comments or suggestions? I still have Path Finder running, it's just that cool, and have minized the window in the dock for now.

I'm running a g3 iBook, X 10.3.2, and Path Finder 3.1.

You probably set the browser window to "Float" - it's a feature that allows you to "stick" a window in front of everything else.

Activate the Path Finder browser window, look under the "Window" menu, and check to see if "Float" is checked off. If so, selecting this will turn off Float and you'll be able to send the Path finder window behind the others again. :)

By the way, I spent a few years in Winnipeg as a kid, and the Nonsuch was my favorite place in the whole city! I'm totally envious that you get to work there.
