Update MP3 Tag version & File kind displayed in preview drawer.
Currently (PF 3.01) only shows MP3 tag info if it is ID3 v1.x. However, that is a rather old standard, with limited data space, and it's genres list small and outdated (See www.id3.org/easy.html ).
But, even MORE importantly, iTunes (as of v4.01) encodes its tags in ID3 v2.2, not in v1.x . (ITune's default is v2.2, but it will update existing v2.3 or 2.4 tags). Thus, songs I have encoded recently via iTunes 4 from my CD's (into mp3 format) show no tag info at all in the preview drawer.
Also, though it shows AAC encoded files as kind=AAC audio, it does not seem to know these are mp3 music files, so again, no tag information is displayed for my encoded CD tracks when I used AAC (M4A) format.
Can the preview displayer be updated for these two newer standards?
