Better find file functions, like Finder. "Name" no

I frequently need to search for files by file modification times, by size, by visibility... inability to do this is the only reason Pathfinder cannot completely replace the Finder for me.

The Finder's current Find File functionality is perfect - I can't find a third party utility that replicates them, so I must leave the Finder open when using Pathfinder to have quick access to this one feature.

A vastly improved "find" feature is coming in the next release of Path Finder, so your wish is (will be) granted!

I can't give you a timeline on the next release, but it should hit the site probably within the next three weeks or so.

Ditto on the Find file function -- I use Finder's Find File all the time.

The Finder Find is good, and especially displays the results very well. It's results display is very user friendly -- I love the path with folders window pane displayed below the list.

But the search criteria options can be improved on.
My request would be to make if even more sophisticated than the Finder - that is, besides being able to add a second Name Contains line, how about ability to add Name (or whatever) Does NOT Contain. (So that we can create the kind of specific search possibilities that a grep command allows... )

Also, I am hoping that these results will be displayed in a (multiple) separate window(s), so that I may drag-drop and work on the results without losing the view that I originally had in Path Finder window.

I was one time able to get a FIND to display results in a separate window, but all my subsequent FIND commands open in the same browser list view, which kind of destroys its usefulness to me. So I am guessing there is some trick or not-obvious-to-me command usage that will give me the multiple separate results windows I want. Yes?
