In most Cocoa applications (Textedit is a good example), if you control-click on the title bar, you will see a menu that displays the hierarchy of folders and volumes that contain the presently open file:

Mike Solomon, the creator of Pith Helmet (http://www.culater.net/software/PithHelmet/PithHelmet.php) (the awesome ad blocking plugin for Apple's Safari) has created a small plugin which remaps selected items from this contextual menu from Apple's Finder to Path Finder.
This means that selecting an item from this menu will open it in Path Finder. Pretty great stuff. You can download the plugin and read how to install this from Mike's Path Finder Hack page (http://www.culater.net/software/PathFinderHack/PathFinderHack.php).
This tip is offered as-is, with no support (implied or otherwise) from Cocoatech. Just though you'd like to know.
