The "Copy Path" options are massively useful. One variation that I would love to see is to be able to grab a directory tree's structure: the copied text would indicate sub-directories with indented tabs on their own line. The paths would be relative, not absolute.
In OS X, I've been unable to find a way to grab a text log of my music directory, which is organized by artist > albums. It would be great to be able to open up these two levels in List View and copy the structure to a spreadsheet. This would be a great journal for backing up files.
I remember a 3rd party OS 9 contextual menu was able to do this, but I haven't found a .plugin for OS X - or an AppleScript. I'm not a programmer, so I'm not able to write such a script myself.
Am I the only one who thinks this would be useful?
