View Full Version : Path Finder Doesn't want to open

:( I downloaded the Path Finder 3.0.1 demo and installed it on a Mac OS X 10.2.8. When I attempt to enable it, the icon only bobs up and down and fades away within the the dock. When I restart the computer the icon momentarily appears in the dock but again just disappears. In other words it isn't working for me, it doesn't open....not even a hint of wanting to.

What might be going wrong?

All other programs seem to be working as they should be.

8) Path Finder 3.0.1 works now. Bad alias and install was the culprit.
User error.

Odd, though. Probably coincidence, but when I fired up my trusty Pismo this morning, Path Finder wouldn't launch. Same symptoms a you had (a couple of icon bounces on the dock, then nothing). When I tried to launch PF in a different account, I was told I couldn't because it belonged to OS X. Changing ownership made no difference. Ended up having to delete the prefs & download a new copy. Works fine now.
