Has anyone experienced problems with the above combo?
Not sure it's PathFinder, but I've been having a couple of crashes or hangs of the Slim server last few days and PathFinder is a likely candidate.

I also notice I appear to be losing alerts and sound effects from the system since I installed PathFinder.

Seams unlikely I know, but has anyone experianced like problems?

I'm still giving it a trial, so it keeps poping the reg dialog - wonder if its that?

Hm. I don't know - to be honest, I don't see how Path Finder could be causing the problems you described - how is the Slim server and Path Finder connected? Do the crashes occur when you're transferring files or something?

Path Finder doesn't change or affect any of the Library files, with the exception of its Preferences files that it adds, so I'm not so sure it's the culprit in your vanishing sound effects problem, too. You've actually seen that the files disappeared from your hard drive?

No, don't think files are disappearing. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the Slim Server error log (in /tmp) before a reboot, so I'll have to wait until it happens again. It's just that (I think) PathFinder is the only late edition to the machine and the dialogue box popped at about the time the server went out, likewise I thought the same happened when I lost the sound, so I wondered if there was something in it. After all, most people would buy PathFinder and not get the dialogue
