Is it possible to make a button that can be placed in the screen, to switch between "show/don't show" invisible files?

While working with terminal it comes in handy to see all this files, without doing ls -AF all the time.
While just working in MacOSX GUI these files are confusing to see.

Thanks,

There is an option under the view menu to show / hide invisible files in pathfinder. It sounds like you would like a button in the toolbar for it though. Is this correct, or am I missing the idea?

What I've done is assigned a quick key to the "Show / Hide invisibles" option under the View menu. Option+Command+I now toggles invisible files for me - no fuss, no muss (or whatever the saying is).

To find the menu key assignment option, look under the Path Finder menu right beside the Apple menu.

I've wanted this feature myself. I'll try to add it in the next release. If someone wants to design a simple button, please send it. I'm a terrible artist.

Love the Menu Key Assignment suggestion. As I am new to PF, I did not know about this.
I have added your suggested Cmd-Opt-I to toggle Show/Hide Invisibles.
Thanks.
